Advancing contemporary Arab visual narratives across borders.
Active since 2024, Swiss Arab Cultural Alliance is a Geneva-based Swiss non-profit cultural cooperation organisation dedicated to contemporary visual narratives between the Arab world and beyond.
We work on narrative dynamics and support artists and creators working with visual storytelling, while encouraging the circulation of illustrations and stories across cultural contexts to address the invisibility of contemporary Arab visual narratives and expand their presence across borders. By encouraging collaborations between artists, publishing houses, researchers and cultural institutions, we contribute to the visibility, understanding and circulation of contemporary Arab visual narratives in a global environment shaped by visual misinformation.
